This may be one of those 'you had to have been there' moments, but I'm going to share it anyway because I thought it was quite funny and rather cute.
Ricky: "Mom, what's this?"
Me: "That's called a rubber spatula."
Ricky (in all seriousness): "Oh! Does that mean you have to rub it?!"
Then he starts to pet it gently as if it were an animal.

Oh gosh that is so cute! It's wonderful that you are documenting all the sweet things the kids are saying & doing. I was always sure I'd remember everything you kids said & did, but as you know, that doesn't work very well. These moments are so precious & fleeting... LOVE reading everything!
